Global Finance Magazine has named Caye International Bank (CIB) the Best Private Bank in Belize for the third year in a row. The awards ceremony will take place in March 2020 in New York City, and CIB will be honored as one of the top banks in the international marketplace.
Attorney Joel Nagel, who is the chairman of CIB, commented on the award: “We are thrilled that Caye International Bank has been named the Best Private Bank in Belize for the third consecutive year. Сауе hаѕ built іtѕ rерutаtіоn оn quаlіtу рrоduсtѕ, knowledge of the global financial marketplace, and a staff that is dedicated to offering the best client services possible. And of course, our clients are also a crucial aspect of our bank. Without them, we would not have received this award.”
The Selection Process
Global Finance Magazine chooses the recipients of its awards very carefully. A review staff overseen by financial experts evaluates company reports, public filings, and financial statements. Client service is also a big factor in determining who receives awards, and CIB has stood out for many years due to its excellent client services and support.
Belize as an Ideal Location
In addition to the bank’s exemplary financial services and dedicated staff, Nagel cites Belize as an ideal location for offshore banking. Belize has a strong economy, with a currency that is tied to the U.S. dollar. English is the official language of the country, which is even located in the same time zone as the U.S. Midwest. All of these factors make it an excellent location for offshore banking.
Additional Recent Awards
The award by Global Finance Magazine is just the most recent in a long list that Caye International Bank has earned recently. In September 2019, CIB was named Best Offshore Private Bank in Latin America by Wealth and Finance International. In 2018, it was named Most Outstanding Offshore Bank in Central America. It was also named Best Private Bank in Belize by Global Finance Magazine both in 2018 and 2019.
