In early August, Caye International Bank (CIB) sent executive management and the board of directors, chaired by Joel Nagel, to meet with investment partners at TS Prosperity Group – a part of Treynor State Bank, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
TS Bank is one of the only correspondent banks in the USA that serves Belize. The partners conducted meetings, and held informal discussions concerning trends in compliance, innovations in financial technology, and how to improve operational efficiency. The Caye Bank management team also had the opportunity to visit Westfair: Fairgrounds and Amphitheatre to see the largest county fair in Southwest Iowa.
Continued Partnership Will Further Stimulate Economy
Caye International Bank Chairman Joel Nagel was joined on the trip by Caye Bank President Luigi Wewege, COO Gladys Urbina, and Caye Bank Directors Eddie Littlefield, Peter Zipper, Michael Cobb, and Dr. Kenneth Skorenko, and Consulting Director Joshua Guttau. As Caye Bank is the only international bank headquartered on Ambergris Caye Island, this continued partnership with TS Prosperity Group will further allow Caye International Bank to provide banking services, loans and mortgages to both national and international clients, further stimulating Belize’s economy.
The Caye Bank team previously met with their TS Prosperity Group counterparts, and after this latest successful trip, they look forward to hosting them once again.
